# MAPI

MAPI is the platform at https://closeai.tech. EAPI Minus is its personal/team API management product. E-API (https://eapi.site) is an upstream provider.

## Deployment status

The invited pilot is active. The personal portal and authenticated model API are available; management remains private. GPT Responses streaming, Sonnet Messages streaming, Sonnet Chat, and Gemini Chat streaming have passed short production calls. Sonnet returned one initial 503 before subsequent success. Full agent clients and all implemented routes have not been accepted. Some streamed costs are estimates because upstream settlement fields are absent. PayPal remains manual; automatic top-up and retail billing are not enabled.

## Endpoints

- Model API base: https://api.closeai.tech/v1 (member API key)
- Personal portal: https://api.closeai.tech/ (personal claim link or member API key; claim a key, see own quota and usage, copy client setup)
- Management MCP and browser console: private connection only, not on the public internet (dedicated agent token / human administrator token)

These credentials are distinct. Never request or expose the upstream provider key through a management tool.

## Management workflow

Through the private management connection, initialize MCP, list tools and call status. Use the returned identity, permissions and revision. For mutations, dry_run previews the operation and expect_revision rejects stale writes. Inspect structuredContent.ok and error.code. A pending budget request is not an applied grant. Existing role and spending limits apply to every operation.

## API coverage

Implemented: Chat Completions; Responses (including compact routing); Anthropic Messages and count_tokens; Embeddings; Models. Streaming is implemented for the supported text protocols.

Not implemented: Images and image jobs; audio transcription/speech; video generation/jobs; native Gemini generateContent/streamGenerateContent. Do not claim these are supported. Do not infer complete Responses API support from the existence of POST /v1/responses.

Browser controls use visible labels and semantic form elements. Read the current page and verify the resulting state after an operation.
